Men’s Club Handicap Index & Allowances

Net scoring
Men’s Club index only
World Handicap system

All weekly play and tournament events (plus optional skins) use net scoring for prizes.

  • Scoring Committee calculates a Men’s Club Handicap Index using only Men’s Club rounds.
  • The club does not use your current GHIN handicap for Men’s Club play.
  • Allowance examples:
    • Optional skins cash prizes: 80% allowance (team events vary)
    • Low net shop credit prizes: 100% allowance (team events vary)
    • Birdie Board cash pot: 50% allowance
  • Allowance recommendations come from the official World Golf Handicap system.

New Members

First 6 weeks = pre-season
Min. 3 rounds
0 hdcp for skins until index
  • New members must establish a Men’s Club Handicap Index before low net Pro Shop credit eligibility.
  • Pre-season gives new members time to post at least 3 rounds and establish an index.
  • New members without an established Men’s Club index can play optional net skins as a 0 handicap until established.
  • More rounds improve index and course handicap accuracy.

Tee Groups & Eligibility

There are separate shop-credit and skins prize pools each week. Once you choose a tee group, you stay there all season.

Blue & Gold Group

  • Players compete for their own prize pool and cash pots.
  • Players in this group may switch between Blue and Gold tees weekly.
  • Course handicap (pops) adjusts by tee selection.

White Tee Eligibility

  • Age (Opening Day) + Men’s Club Index = 71.5 or higher.
  • Eligible players may choose White tees or a back tee.
  • If White is chosen, player stays on White tees all season.

Red Tee Eligibility

  • Age + Men’s Club Index = 89.5 or higher, and player is 65+.
  • If Red is chosen, player stays on Red tees all season.
  • Red/White tee group cannot switch tees week to week.

Optional Birdie Board & Hole-In-One Club

$10 HIO Club
$5 Birdie Board
Cash pots
  • Hole-In-One Club: $10 cash to join. If a member in the HIO club makes an ace in Men’s Club play, they win the pot.
  • Birdie Board: $5 cash. First player to record a net birdie on all 18 holes during regular season wins the pot.
  • Only Men’s Club net birdies count toward the Birdie Board (50% allowance).

Optional Net Skins Game

$10 cash at check-in
Separate tee-group pots
80% allowance + half pops
  • Optional net skins is offered for every Saturday open play and tournament event.
  • Separate skins pots for Blue/Gold and Red/White during open play; some tournament skins are team skins.
  • Skins cash is paid after scoring is completed.
  • Half pops are used for skins so a natural birdie is less likely to be cut by a net par.
